Briefing
Stray is a third-wave coffee roastery that specializes in unconventional and carefully selected coffee. Their conscious demand for high-quality raw materials, their commitment to the producers and their special view of how coffee should be experienced set them apart from their competitors.
Feldi and Ilan, the two founders behind Stray, turned to us to breathe life into their vision with a brand identity and enable them to successfully launch their project with an online store.

Concept
We worked closely together to develop a brand strategy, positioning and visual identity for the specialty coffee start-up. A modern, clear and yet atypical look for the industry transfers the young company's spirit of looking at the world of coffee from a different angle to the branding and website.

Website
When designing the online store, a memorable visual separation from the competition was to play a major role. In our concept for the roastery's website, we combined an unconventional layout with an intuitive e-commerce experience.
We decided to break some of the usual e-commerce grids and make the site visit an exciting and memorable experience with interactive aspects. We kept regular store functions simple to ensure full usability and accessibility.
Transparency and education about the many factors of the coffee industry play a central role in Stray's mentality. With the help of micro-education elements, visitors to the website are consistently informed about all aspects - from cultivation, to the value chain, to processing.

Results
Stray quickly piqued the interest of the specialty coffee scene and are well on their way to joining the ranks of well-known competitors. Thanks to a scalable brand identity and simple website management, coffee roasters can focus on their core business and their next big goals.
